Original music from the Griffith Park Observatory - Samuel Oschin Planetarium show celebrating the discoveries of Galileo as part of his 400th birthday and the International Year of Astronomy.

The music was through-scored (30-minutes) and always played underneath a live presenter's voice in the planetarium. Every facet of the orchestration was desgined for the music to sit comfortably and controllably underneath the voice.

The music was synchronized to dual 2K laser video projections and the Zeiss star projector and was matrixed out of a 32-channel Meyer Sound Matrix-3 system (LCS). The music was scored against SMPTE time code and a fixed spotting list in the same manner a film score would be.
